The Randolph Jail is a nineteenth century jail located on the Museum grounds. It was relocated here from the old town of Randolph in northern Riley County when the old town location was moved with the creation of Tuttle Creek Reservoir.

Arts in the Park moves to the Zoo 2009
The City of Manhattan Parks and Recreation Department has announced the lineup for the 2009 Arts in the Park concert series. Ongoing renovations at City Park Pavilion have changed the location of the first four concerts to the Chautauqua Stage at Sunset Zoo, with the final two concerts at the Larry Norvell Band Shell in City Park.
All Arts in the Park performances are free to the public, and the schedule is subject to change. For more information about Arts in the Park, visit the Parks and Recreation Web site, or call 587-2757.
